Global Forwarding Agent

The Global Forwarding Agent oversees and coordinates the shipment process for their designated clients. They ensure that customer needs are met with accuracy and efficiency. Their role involves managing and supervising each shipment's tasks, handling daily communication, reporting, and email correspondence. The candidate takes full responsibility for the success of their assigned accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand international shipping processes, documents, and terminology from order to delivery.
• Accurately input financial details for correct customer billing.
• Use industry knowledge and problem-solving to improve processes and resolve challenges.
• Coordinate shipment tasks to meet customer SOP requirements (bookings, alerts, filings, deliveries, invoicing).
• Manage and update shipments in Navisphere with accurate data.
• Understand pricing and provide quotes based on customer and network needs.
• Offer tracking services and generate shipment documents.
• Ensure high data integrity, including shipment details, INCOterms, routing, and documentation.
• Build strong customer relationships by responding promptly and resolving issues.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, agents and vendors.
